LODGE MEETINGS.
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Albion Lodge, M.U., was held last evening, N.G. Bro. Wright presiding over an exceptionally large attendance, the reason being the official visit of the City and suburban lodges. During the evening harmony was contributed. N.G. Thomson (Mosgiel), N.G. Wells (Valley), N.G. Webb (Caversham), Y.G. Knox (Dunedin), and N.G. Lyons (Hand and Heart) responded to the toast of the visitors, and D ; P.G.M. M'Dougal represented the Otago District officers.
Hhe weekly meeting of Alliance Lodge, 1.0. G.T., was held in Friendly Societies’ Hall, South Dunedin, on Wednesday. Bro A. Rowlands, C.T., presided, and there was a good attendance.. Two candidates were initiated, Ihe various officers’ reports were read, and received favoraby. The lodge deputy then proceeded with the installation. A vote of thanks was accorded to the visitors and retiring-officers, and was Responded to by representatives from Star of Auckand, Rescue, Hope of Dunedin, and Star of Freedom Lodges.
