PARISHIONERS- ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the parishioners of All Saints' Church war? held last night, the Very Rev. Dean Fitchett presiding About twenty-five were present J Mr Jas. Allen, M.P. (minister - .? churchwarden), in moving the adoption of the churchwarden's and vestrymen's report (previously published), said"that he would not say much,- for the report spoke for itself. They had, practically speaking, wiped off their debts, only to begin a now one.--The-drainage-work," however, had to ; be done. It was necessary to do the work, .or Hie Drainage Eoard had insisted nil alterations' being made. He hoped that the money would be paid off next year Inference vras- made to the voluntary work put mby the Ladies' Guild. Had'it not been for the ladies the parish would not have been in so" satisfactory a position Thanks were due to the treasurer (Mr G R. Ritchie) and to the' Sunday school teeners for their self-sacrificing work. The numerous associations in connection with the parish were doing a great deal of work. He was -pleased to see such nealthy life in the church. Mr W. Wilkins seconded the motion stating that lie was pleased to see the overdraft reduced. He objected to Hi" cost of the drainage. The report was "adopted. The Treasurer (Mr G. R, Ritchie) made reference to the excellent work done by the ladies of the parish. A resolution was passed appreciating the work done by the various officebearers and associations in connection with the church. The election of office-bearers resulted: -Minister's churchwarden. Mr James Allen. M.P. ; parishioner" churchwarden, Mr (r. E. Brav; secretary, Mr G R Ritchie: auditor, Mr T. H. Lusk : vestrymen—Messrs G. Grater, J. Butler. J. Angus F. Peake, W. Smith. S. F. Mirams, b. Hooper, J. M. Ritchie. F. Mannin", and Dr Marshall. "'
