Colored skins are realising o:i a par with irreys. • Skeapskins.— 'Iliis week we submitted a somewhat smaller catalogue than usual to a full attendance of buyers. We cleared every lot under, keen competition. We quote:—Full-wool led skins: Half-bred, 7ct to bred, pijl to 6jd ; merino. 6d to 6W ; dead skins. Id to "lid lower. Short wools ; Half-bred. 51d to 6d : crcss-brsd. 4d to to.6d. Shearling pelts : Cross-bred, 3|d to 4id : merino. 3d to 3|d. Hides.—We held our usual sale of hides on' Thursday. 15th inst.. when we put forward a medium catalogue, to. the usual at-tendance-of shippers and tanners. Bidding was spirited throughout, and the high prices ruling at Lite'sales' were fully realtsoa. We had no hides of special merit forward, so cannot therefore .instance anv extreme prices.
