GERMAN SAMOA.
[Per United Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, April 22. A proclamation issued by Dr Solf (Governor or German Samoa) relating to the disaffected chiefs states that they are to ho departed with their relatives to Sipan Island, in the Caroline' Group; that in the six blandfi over which they ruled no now appointments would bo made, for one year; all guns and ammunition muet be surrendered' to the German authorities, and the head of every family must pav a tax of thirty marks, in addition to theordinary tax of twelve marks. Tho Governor lays stress on the lenient treatment meted out, ;md expresses a hop© that it will be appreciated by tho local natives.
