-MAXY RESIGNATIONS. Press Association—By Telegrapn—Copyright LONDON, April 14. A sensation was caused at the Independent Labor party Conference at Edinburgh by Messrs Keir Hardie, Snowden, Ramsay Maedonaid, M.P.s, and Mr Glasier resigning their membership in the Administrative Council of the party owing to the Conference adopting a vote oi semi-sym-pathy with Mr Victor Grayson. M.P., and suggesting that the Council should endeavor to come to terms with Mr Grarson, Mr Blatchford (editor of the 'Clarion'), and other irreconcilubles, who object to the Council's desire to work with the Liberals. Those who have resigned considered this vote one of censure, and a hot-tempered debate took place. The Conference begged for a reconsideration of the decision. Mr Glasier also resigns the editorship of the ' Labor Leader.' POSTAL CLERKS STAND OUT. LONDON, April 14. (Received April 15, at 9.20 a.m.) The United Kingdom postal clerks, at their conference at Nottingham, by a large majority declined to affiliate with the Labor party, on the ground that tin; latter are themselves divided and niuinlv Socialistic.
