LICENSING COMMITTEE ELECTION.

The No-license candidates for the Dunedin Licensing Committee held a meeting in the North-east Valley Salvation Army Barracks last evening, Mr Bolting presiding. There was a good attendance, and the speakers were well received. All the candidates spoke, also Mr H. D. Bedford, who said bo wished to contradict an impression that he had reflected upon the character of the Moderate candidates. Fjtf these gentlemen be had a high regard as worthy citizens, the point at issue between his party and theirs being one of policy only.
