Second Da*.—Satobdat [Fiiom Otm Own Reporter.] The Vincent races were concluded on Saturday in line weather. The attendance Was not so large as oil the first day. The fields were small, but the going was better than on the opening day, as the track had dried considerably; The sum of £1,146 10s was passed through the machine on the second day. making a total of £2,383 10s, compared with £2,999 last year. Inquiries delayed the racing considerably on Saturday. After the opening race an inquiry was held into the running of Vyvyan, and the result was that the horse and rider (Dwyer, who holds an amateur rider's license) were disqualified for three months. Ogg (Duiiedihh dancing, £7 ss; Michaelson (Dunedin), running, £7. The Hon. J. A. Millar's special gold medal in the wood-chopplrig combetition was won by J. Kendal. The Special gold medal for the best all-Tound athlete and Sir J. G. Ward's gold medai for the best all-round liandicap athlete (.handicap events only) have not yet been awarded, but it is likely that olie will go to #. Forde and the other to Chalmers. THE PERTH CUP. Melbourne papers to hand to-day give the following as the result of the Perth Cup, of 2,000 sovs, 2m :—Scorcher, by Simmer -Lebel (7.2) 1, Loredano (6.7) 2, Valere (7;6) 3. Twelve others started. Won by half a length. Time, 3min 30 4-ssec.
