LAMONT.-On the 27th December, at Dunetlin, John Lamont, son of the late Coll -Uunont, Port Bannatyne, Bute; aeed 26 years.—Private interment. BROWNING.-On December 27, at his latei residence, 112 Cargill road, Caversham Ward, Dunedm, James, the beloved husband of Ann Browning, after a long illness; aged 89 years. "At rest." PATERSON.—On December 26th,. at 19 Reid road, South Dunedin, Robert Paterson engine-dnver N.Z. railways, the beloved husband of Jessie Paterson; aged 57 years. Deeply regretted. , the 28th December, 1908, at his son's residence, Granville terrace Belleknowas, Anthony, the beloved husband of Ehaabeth Ferguson, of Bannookburn; in his 76th year.
