GOOD TEMPLARY.
The Lily of the Valley Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held their weekly meeting on Monday in the lodge room, Albany stret, Bro. A. Brock, C.T., presiding. One brother was restored to membership. Communications were received from Bros. Cameron, G.C.T., Petherick, G.S., Walton, G.E.S., and Barrie, organiser for Taieri. It was decided to postpone the next meeting on account of the holiday. The reports of the various officers were received and adopted, and showed the lodge to be in a fairly satisfactory condition. The syllabus for the new quarter was also submitted and approved. Bro. Nisbet, L.D., assisted by Bros. Cocking and Paterson] then installed the officers for the new term as foUows C.T., Bro. W. Edwards; V.T., Sis. J. Thomson; secretary, Bro. Douglas; A.S., Sis. B. Lyon; F.S., Sis. A. Davies; T., Sis. E. Brown; chaplain, S r ?V Gillam; M., Bro. T. Donaldson; D.M., Sis. A. Bowie; G., Bro. G. Paterson ; S., Bro. Chadwick; P.C.T., Bro. A. Brock. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to retiring officers, Bros. M’Kinlay and Morrison responding. The visitors’ vote was replied to by Bro. Wills (Pioneer), Sis. Paterson (Star of Freedom). and Bros. Cocking and Paterson (installing marshals).
