THE MANAWATU SHOW.
[Per United Press Association.] t PALMERSTON N., November 4. The weather was decidedly unpromising for the first day of the Manawatu A. and P. Association spring show. A cold westerly wind is blowing, with indications of rain. The judging to-day is confined to the poultry, home industries, and art classes. Sheep, cattle, and horses will be taken to-morrow. The home industries and art classes afforded an excellent display, particularly the latter, which embrace entries from all over the Dominion, including many successful exhibits at the Jate International Exhibition. Poultry is confined to utility classes, and entries are not particularly large, but the quality nght through is. excellent.
