MR MACMANDS IN REPLY.
■ TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—3lrAVatson says a Socialist should vole for Slate control. and not for Noliceiise. Accepting Mr Watson’s' stateincnts to avoid a controversy, then if Mr Watson is in favor of State control ho must, be opposed to private control. And if he is opposed to private control of drink, how conns it that he advocates License, which IS voting to place the drink monopoly under private control? If Mr Watson was consistent, lie would vote for So-licensi. which is against private control.—l am etc ',’ ■ K. MacManus. ’ JSovember 5. [This; correspondence k' dosed.—Ed. L.b»J
