LAWN TENNIS.
The adjourned annual meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association was held at Wellington last night. The following officers were elected Patron, Lord Plunfcet; president, Mr C. H. Broad (Nelson); vice-presidents—: Messrs W. R. Holmes (Auckland), W. Goss (Christchurch), F. Logan (Napier), C. J. W. Griffiths (Marlborough), H. R. Duncan (Nelson), A. E. Harraway (Otago), Dr Leatham (Taranaki), H. M. Gore (Wellington), Dr Teichelmann (West Coast); deputation to the English Lawn Tennis Association, Dr Eaves; management committee—Messrs J. C. Peacock, A. Young E. K. Swanston, E. Salmond, G. A.' Hurley, and F.. R. Laishley; appeal committee—Messrs E. J. Ross, P. A. Laurie. F. Wilding, A. F. Wright, W. Goss (all of Christchurch); auditor, Mr S. G. Kay; secretary and treasurer, Mr G, N. Goldie. Amended rules were adopted, and a committee' was set up to define the amateur status. It was decided to resign from the New Zealand Sports Federation, it being considered obsolete.
