Mr J. B. Grant, prior to his departure from Maheno to take up his work at the Ravensbourne School, was presented with a roller-top desk and a writing chair; and Mrs Grant received a silver-mounted oak tray, a silver hot-water kettle, and cream and sugar jugs. Mr Grant had charge of the Maheno School for seventeen years. London advises that Mr Chamberlain is now staying at Aix. His condition is improving.
