Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Donedin, as under:—
Overland, Northern ports, Chmtchurch. and intermediate offices, daily, 6.30 a-m. Late letters 7.40; also on the mail van up to 8 a-jn. For second express for Waikouaiti, Palmerston, Oamaru, Waimate, Temnka, Timaru, Ashbcrrton, Christchurch, at 12.45 p.m. For Greymouth, Hokitika, and Reefton, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 12.45 pan. For south express trains at 7.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. FRIDAY, JUNE 28.
For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Taiune, at 2 p.m. Late letters 3 p.m. on board.
Mails for the Australian States, India, China, Continent of Europe, and the United Kingdom, per Monowai, close at Wellington on the 28th, at 3 p.m. W. St. Geobgk Douglas, Chief Postmaster.
