Haines, on the occasion of his marriage, received a present of a set of cutlery from his chopmates. Mr M. G. Thomson made the presentation, and conveyed to Mr Haines the good wishes of his fellow-employees. Mr J. Blair Macon, the Harbor Board’s engineer, left Dunedin on Saturday on a short visit to Christchurch.
