AUCKLAND, March 4’. Mr Sproule, New' Zealand manager of !he Oceanic Company, elates that the Sierra and the Ventura are to be laid up in ’Frisco for an overhaul, probably for three months. He expects that when this is completed the beats wfill be able to maintain a regular time-table, and tho use of tho service will then bo reverted to. The time to London will be shortened by quick passages by tho new Cunarders, which will bo running in a few months.
