AMUSEMENTS.

KILLERS'. Fullers' Enteriaineis amused a large audience last night. The programme will be repeated this evening, and to-morrow Donedin's old favorite, Miss Ida Berridge, will reappear, and several new artisto «w announced. Mr Graham and Miss.-Den* appear again this evening. • There will be a special sacred concert on-Christmas Day. 'TOOS MESSIAH.' The intimation of the production of Han. dels masterpiece at this time of the year io. welcomed by a large section of our people, as Christmas' without ' The Messiah' would be a great disappointment. The production this year will take place in His Majesty's Theatre on Christmas night, and be given by the Dunedin Choral Society. On this occasion the society have been fortunate in securing the services of the following as soloists:—Soprano, Miss Lynn Mills (Sydney), who sang in Dunedin a few weeks ago, when she met with a very hearty reception; contralto, Miss Mina Caldow (Wellington), who took the solos in ' The Messiah' production last year. Since Miss Caldow's residence in Wellington she has sung for the Choral Society on several occasions ; in fact, she has taken the contralto solos at every one of the society's concerts. Mr. R F. Foster is so well known that it is needless to comment upon his ability. Mr J. E. Taylor (Invercargill), who has been allotted the bass solos, has sung for the society on more than one occasion, but has not been heard in Dunedin for some time past. The chorus and orchestra have been practising assiduously, and the conductor is more than pleased at the manner in which- the various numbers have been handled by his forces.
