A WARSHTP SENT. Tress Association—Bv- Tolegraph—Ccpyrigbt. MELBOURNE. December 20. (Received December 20, at 9.50 a.m.) Owing to the recurrence of trouble in the New Hebrides, the Federal Government asked the Admiralty to send a warship- to t'lio group. Mr Deakin says one left Sydney some days ago. A number of matteri were referred to tbe Government by some of tho missionaries, and the Govenunent thought that action should be taken. The supposition is that the trouble is in connection with the. repatriation of tbe Queensland kanaka*. It is undetstood that the vessel referred to by Air Deakin is the Prometheus, which left on the 4th inst. for the New Hebrides via Noumea.
