PARIS, December 7.

Tire Chamber of Deputies passed a vote of confidence in the Clemenceau Government by 467 votes to 56, after M. Pichon (Minister of Foreign Affairs) had explained that France and Spain were only forearming against tho risks of anarchy in Morocco. Intervention would occur only in the event of absolute necessity. The Chamber unanimously ratified the Algeciras Treaty.

[M. Pichon was the French Minister at Pekin during the Boxer rising and the attack on the Foreign Legations. He subsequently represented )is country at Fez (Morocco), and is thoroughly v-er. Ed in the present dispute. He is most popular among his diplomatic colleagues.]
