The Ixmdon County Council, by 80 votes to 54. decided to promote a Bill for presentation to Parliament to secure tlie entire control of the electric power and lighting ■supply for London. The ‘Morning Post’ states that £4,000,000, and ultimately much more, wiU hr- needed, since the Council contemplate supplying the surrounding districts.
