(Received Soptember 26, nt 9.52 a.m.) Tho Auditor-General's report, discloses shortages in connection with the Customs irregularities at Port Adelaide amounting to £26,000, and extending over a period of Dine years, commencing in 1898. There arc no means of tracing those. A BTC BILL. ADELAIDE. September 25. (Received September 26, at 9.52 a.m.) A bill for £15,000 has been presented to Messrs James Martin and Co., representing tbo amount of duty alleged to lwvo lx>en short paid by their Customs agent.
