CENTRAL MISSION CHINESE CLASS.

The annual social of the Central Mission Cbinero Class w.is held in the Stafford street Hal' on Monday evening. There was a large attendance.of Europeans, and also about a hundred Chinese, including representatives from the Walker ntreet Class and ihe Hanover street Baptist Gas?. The Rev. W. A. Sinclair presided. He spoke of the good work done by Mr Paterson amongst the Chinese of the. City. He said thas the Stafford street Class 'had an average attendance of twenty-two, the highest attendance at an ordinary meeting during the past year being forty-two; Short ' addresses were given by Messrs W. Patierson and O'Connor, Rev. Mr Chan, Mattai, Ah Shing, and Yonge. The following also assisted in the programme:—Mrs Melville, Misses Coombs, Buchanan, Duncan, and Daniel Yat Lee, Sue Hip, joe; Say, Woy Kum, the Hanover street. Class, and. others.
