When the Oourt met on Saturday, the Crown Prosecutor intimatod that, in view of the Judge's strong remarks when sentencing M'Pherson, bo did not intend to offer any evidence in a similar charge against his wife. His Honor and counsel, subsequently considered the matter in Chambers, but no decision has yet been made public. Mary R. M'Pherson was subsequently brought before the Court in connection with an illegal operation case. The Crown Prosecutor intimated that he did not intend to offer any evidence. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty, and the accused was discharged. In the second trial of Ah John in connection with the sale of pak-a-poo tickets the jury returned a verdict of "Not grotty." Gregory Henham, found guilty of arson, was .sentenced to throe years' imprisonment. This concluded the sittings. ,
