BIBLE READING.
There was; an attendance, of about sixty perrons at the Bible reading conducted bv Captain Neville in tbe Y.W.C.A. Hall on Wednesday afternoon. The.-.’ subject was ‘ Baptism ; Its Eight Relation to Conversion.’ Before dealing with this tire, speaker gave an exposition of the various phases ■of the Gospel, seeking to show that faith in Christ was the condition that God laid down as essential to salvation, whether from the guilt-, the power, or the presence of sin. The speaker then dealt with some of ■the texts winch appear ,to make baptism a condition, of' salvation.
