The doctor has returned to Australia, injured for life with a fracture of the skull. Negotiations for reparation have been transferred to Pekin. SYDNEY, August 23. (Received August 23, at 10.22 a.m.) Dr Horne, mentioned in the English cables, is at present in Australia. A piece of bone is now lighfy resting on the brain, the left leg is somewhat paralysed, and he is subject to epileptic fits.
