SAN FRANCISCO LOSSES. ( On June 18, in the name of the city, Governor Pardee, of California, and Mayor Schmits, of San Francisco, telegraphed to the headquarters ofthe officers of the cutting insurance companies—that is to say, some sixty companies who have voted to make a redaction of 25 per cent, in all adjusted losses—warning them that they must deal fairly with the insurers, or they will be driven out of the Californian insurance world.
