A message from Balclntha to the Inspett tor of Police is to the effect that a small four-roomed cottage, the property of Mr Thomas Gawn, was burned this morning and that the occupant, Mary Yarley, bett« known as Mary Jenkins, perishea in tip flames. The cause of the fire is not known'
