CASUALTIES.
The body of Annie njunhall, who waft recently in the Invercargill Hospital for treatment for mental trouble, was found in a waierholo beside the Bluff road, near Kew, yesterday afternoon. The pool was not deep, and unless seized by a fit the woman coaid scarcely have been drowned accidentally.
Two electric tramcam collided on Thorndon Quay, Wellington, last night, ono being considerably damaged. Happily caw oar was empty, and there were but two passengers in the other—a Mrs Dick and her daughter. The former, an eMarly wocnan, wes showered in broken glass. She suffered a severe cut on the forehead, and sustained several braises, besides a shock. She was taken to a neighboring house, and received medical attention. Her in* juries, however, are not considered serions.
