Tire payments by the Taieri and Peninsnla Company for the month of February for milk supply were £25.197. This is (saye tbe ‘Neath Otago Times’) a reduction of about £4,500 on the amount paid during tho previous month, but it should bo 'remembered that February Was a short rnonth, and there has’ been "the natural falling off owing to the lateness of the season, LAND DALE AT PAHIATUA. PAHIATUA. March 23. By a deal of valuable T>roperty effected yesterday, 400 acres of rich flat land, bordering on tiro'- borough, were sold to a Wellington syndicate, a portion of which will b© cut up as building sites. The Aggregate amount involved in the purchas< was £14,000.
