INDIA'S REVENUE.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, March 21. (Received March 22, at 8.26 a.m.) India’s revenue for the year 1904-05 showed a surplus of £5,456,000. It is estimated that the current year will produce a surplus of £1,755,700, and the coming year one of £874,000. Taxation to the extent of half a million, chiefly on agricultural necessities, will be remitted.
