DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE.
THOUSANDS KILLED. £9,000,000 DAMAGE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. , LONDON, March 21, The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Tokio correspondent reports that thousands of persons were killed during the earthquake in Formosa. Tho whole island was shaken, and several towns were completely destroyed. The damage is estimated at £9,000,000.
