GREYMOUTH, March 22. At- to-day’s sitting a letter was read from Miss Anna Gordon, of Evanston, U.S.A., inviting delegates to the world’s W.C.T.U. meeting in Boston in October next. The following amendment to the New Zealand Constitution was carried: “ That all local unions may nominate officers of the Executive, such nominatoins to be sent to the editor of the ‘ White Ribbon. ’and to be published in the October number of the paper, with additional nominations till the Convention meet.” Tim report of the treasurer was received and adopted. This showed that during the year the sum of £l3O 16s 8d had passed through her hands, a balance of £67 14s 2d remaining for local work. £1,131 9s 2d has been raised, a balance of £289 13s remaining, every branch in the colony showing a credit balanco , '
