THE FLOUR TRUST.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—The Flour "Trust (fifty-two mills) Jiave declared Auckland a-free port—i.e., their numerous agents can sell from 20s to 30r per ton lower for Auckland than for any other port in New Zealand, the object being to whip us (one mill) into subjection. jNo dpnbt the loss on Auckland shipments is borne by the Trust out of what they make in towns where they have a monopoly. We understand the Trust say the cause of dumping flour into Auckland is owing to our cutting at Wellington, which is news to us.
