The Socialists at Courrieres, after the funerals of the victims in the minfe disaster, made violent speeches denouncing the mine owners. There -were many cries of "Down ■wdth the capitalist n/imierers." A full investigation into the origin of the explosion is urged. The excitement among&t the people in tho district is increasing. The men have struck for a 10 pei cent, increase in wages, and the strike is spreading to other districts. MINERS STILL ALIVE. PARIS, March 14. (Received Maxell 15, at 8.47 a.m.) The engineers assert that there are more men still in the remote galleries at the Cburrieres Colliery. The falls from the roof impede the progress of the search parties. BRITISH HELP. LONDON, March 14. .(Received March 15, at 9.42 a:m.) Mr W. H. Lever, M.P., and Sir H.
