A DENIAL
to ™» Burros.. ga-, —We desire to enter a most emphatic denial to the remarks made by Mr ijteve Boreham at the unemployed meeting held on Saturday afternoon re charging persons la 6d for entering their names before receiving an engagement. Ibis is all downright nonsense, and untrue. No charge is made till the party or parties are engaged, and as to Mr Borebam’s statement that one agent advertised . for six ploughmen and did not even require one, our firm guarantee to produce the employer's signed order (personal engagements excluded) for every situation we advertise.—We are, etc., John Skene and Son, October 2.
