Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, July 25. Mrs James has been committed for trial on a charge of bigamy. Sbe made a lengthy statement, reiterating that she never married James. She said she impersonated Mrs James, who was her half-sister, and also impersonated Mrs Bentley, thereby receiving money from James in New Zealand and from the barracks here as the wife of Bently, who w.is a member of the Bushmen’s Contingent. Her present husband, Constable Baker, knew of both impersonations, and benefited by the moneys received by her. She denied giving the vitriol to her daughter to throw over Baker. *
