Speaking of native lands, be showed that the area dealt wth from 1895 to 1906 by sale, lease, mortgage,'etc., amounted t0,420,946 acres.' A vote of thanks and confidence to Mr Carroll as the district's future representative and of confidence in the Government was unanimously, carried.
