THE CONSOLIDATED FUND
The receipts to Consolidated Fund for the three months ended December 31 amounted to £2,529,452. This includes £675,945, balance at the beginning of the quarter. Railways contributed £515,668;, Customs, £357 478’ stam P 3 ’ £257,083; land tax, The expenditure oh permanent appropriations was £965,701, and on annual appropriations £970,913. The sum of £IOO,OOO was transferred to the Public Works Fund leaving a balance pf £494,837 at the end of the quarter. The Public Works Fund shows a balance of £571,705, and the Land for Settlements Account-a. balance of £4&L9U.
