MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES
The Alliance Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held them weekly meeting in the Friendly Societies’ Hall on Wednesday night, O.T. Bro. Ingram presiding. Three candidates were initiated, including two members of H.M.S. Phffibe. Capitation, tax on eighty-one members was passed 'for payment. The following officers for the’ present quarter wore then installed by L.D. Bro. Stubbs, Bro. M “Co on all (acting 1.M.), and Sis. Thom (acting LI)-M,): —C.T., Bro. Ingram: V.T., Sis. Rowlands; P.C.T., Bro. Stubbs: b.J.T., Bro. BEuht; F.&., Sis. Lyons; treasurer, Sis. McPherson; secretary, Bro’. Roberts; A.S., Bro. A. Johnson; chaplain' Sis. Faithful; Mar., Bro. Rillstone; D.M ’ Sis. Robinson; guard, Bro. Todd; sentinel! Bro, Mockford. The vote of thanks to the visitors was responded to by Bro. M‘Ccmnell (Cavereham).
