MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES
The half-yearly meeting of the Antidote Division, Sons and Daughters of Temperance, was held in the Choral Hall last evening, Bro. E. J. King, W.P., in the chair. The election of officers resulted in the return of Sis. P. Thorn, W.P.; Bro. W. Facer, W.A. •, Bro. Wm. Crawford, sec.; Sis. J. Johnson, A.S.; Bro. W. A. Newman, treas.; Bro. J. M. Fraeer, chap.; Bro. E. M'Bride, con.; Sis. Chare, A.C.; Bro. Turnbuil, LS.; Bro., C. J. Thorn, 0.5.; Bro. E. T. Clarke, trustee; and Bro. E. M'Bride, auditor. Three candidates were initiated. Receipts of the evening, £lls 3s 6d.
