ri SYDNEY, December 1. , Harbor Rates Bill was reintroduced m the Assembly, passed all stages, and has been read a in the Council. SYDNEY, December 2. (Received December 2, at 10 a.m.) The Assembly laid aside the Stamp Duty Bill, the Premier having intimated that he would introduce another Bill to affirm the right of the House to control the taxation of the country. MELBOURNE, December 2. The Rev. Begbie Picton has been appointed successor to Dean Carlisle at St Alary’s, North Alelbonrne.
