AUCKLAND, September 24. A sentence of twelve months' imprisonment was passed by Mr Kettle, S.M.. to-day on Charles Clarke, a laburer, who was convicted of indecently exposing himself■ before a schoolgirl. CHRISTCHURCH, September 24. A fire broke out on th<> top floor of Messrs Whitcombe and Tombs's bookbinding factory early this morning. The damage is estimated at reveral thousands of pounds.
