THE NEW DINING CARS

[Special to thb Stab.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 24. The two dining cars which are being built at Addington for the new express service will be larger than the dining cars at present in use between this city and Dunedin, and will accommodate twenty-two diners, in place of eighteen, the capacity of the present care. The tables will be differently arranged, those on one side accommodating four persons (two on each side of the table), whilst smaller tables on the other side will accommodate two persons, one on each side of the table. In both cases the diners- will face one another.
