_ According to the Paris papere, the physicians hare hit, upon a new method of treating wounds. A sheet of silver or. silver leaf is all that is necessary. The silver is simply placed on the wound or ulcer, and as it sticks closely to tho surface a littlo cotton poaked in collodion is sufficient to keep it in place. The effects of this sheet of silver are very remarkable. Last year's profits of Bovril amounted'to £139,370, being £11,915 more than the previous year, while the" reserve stood at £125,000.
