Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary, alterations, as under:— Overland, North, daily, 10.10 a.m. Late letters, 10.43; also on the mail van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 9.40 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage. Id. THURSDAY, JULY 28. Malls for Northern ports and Australian States, per Moeraki, at 2 p.m. Money orders and registered letters close at 1 p.m. Late letters, o p.m., on board. FRIDAY, JULY 29. For Lyttelton and Christchurch. —. Per Tarawcra, at 2 p.m. Late letters, 3 p.m., on board. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Manapouri, close at Auckland on the 27th, at 5 p.m. Mails for the Chatham Islands, per Toroa, close at Lyttelton on the Ist August, at 8 p.m. Mails for Norfolk and Fanning Islands, ]>er Iris, close at Auckland on the Ist August at 11 a-m. _Tne Geelong will leave Melbourne for Natal and Cape Town on the 3rd August.
