While engaged in felling trees on' Sir J. Hall's station, Hororata, yesterday, William Harris, a young married' man, received injuries from which he died shortly after adinisHon to the Christchurch Hospital. William Pettigrew, aged seventy, an old age pensioner, died on Thursday evening while being conveyed to Outrani* en route to the Dunedin flospita-l. Pettigrew, who lived in a hut by himself, became very ill, and feme shepherds who discovered him' sent information to the police. Constables Johnston and Oarmody were removing the olo: man when he .succumbed. AUCKLAND, May 28. The body of Isaac John Cole, saddler, of Papakura, was found in the harbor this morning. The deceased was last seen alive at mid-day yesterday. It is not known how he got into the water.
