ALHAMBRA THEATRE.
Mr Pnller has a very strong company appearing at the Alhamhra Theatre just now, and as the public, from their constant and | large attendance at the theatre and theit evident enjoyment while there, appear peri fectly satisfied with them as they are, only minor changes in the personnel "of the per- ' formers are being introduced. One of these I was the first appearance of Mr Walter Mel- : rose, whose parti<-ti)ir line is the descriptive j song, with a considerable number of which ! he interested and pleased the audience, ! some being in respond to encores. Mr Will | Stevecs was rjr.iu' , aiv. .rr.uMng in the first ■ part, and had to n appear several times be- ; fore the audience were satisfied. Miss i Florrie Swift made rather a hit with a I song entitled 'Whose little girl are yonf i VnUe Miss Milli- JT'.-rbjrle and Mr "Tom Robins each coiur'buted ballads in excellent style. In the second part the interest never flagged for a moment, which is not surprising when it is mentioned that the first four successive turns comprised the Lentous' wonderful acrobatic, juggling, and hatthrowing feats, Miss Kitiy Leutou's dainty and charming Mr Denis Carney's ever-varying budget oi comic sketches, and the attractive singing and dancing of the : Steele sisters.
