MAYORAL NOMINATIONS.

—North-east Valley.— The nomination of candidates for the position of Mayor of the Borough of North east Valley during the ensuing year took place at the local Council Chambers at noon to-day Ihe returning officer (Mr Theodore Arnold) announced that he had received two nominations-Mr John Campbell proposed by Messrs J.
