A fair day's business was reported at the Metropolitan Markets, where all varieties of summer; fruit were well represented. Valued showed no appreciable alteration. Quotations were as follow:

Oranges-—Extra choice, 14s to 15s; choice, 12s to 13s; good, 10s to 11a; Navels, American, 10s to 12a; small, 4s to 6s per case.. . " . . Pineapples.—Queen, 6s 6d to 7s 6d; common, 6s to 7b per case. Mulberries.—Local, 3d per quart. Strawberries.—Local, prime, 2s 6d to 4»; small, is to Is 6d per four-quart box. 2s 6d to 3s 6d.
