The four days' bazaar at Glasgow in aid of the local Samaritan Hospital realised the splendid total of £24,027. The promoters expected to take betwen £15,000 and £20,000. A fancy dress ball in connection with tho bazaar realised £13,000. Princess Henry of Battenberg, who had charge of a stall, proved herself to be a brisk saleswoman.
